So now, here I am now constantly learning new things about each program and myself as a result of my art. I create what my mind shows me, for me it's a personal thing. A picture tells a thousand stories as they say. Inspiration comes from many areas and aspects within my life and the world around me. I never plan out the image I'm going to work on - I just let my sub conscious show me the draft to work from. Sometimes, just sometimes I create something I regard as complete, worthy of sharing, those are the ones I like.
My art work is influenced by my interests in life, my taste in music is as colourful as my style of dress is varied. The photos of me here reflect my two life styles - a lover of nature and the outdoors and a goth. As a child I was encouraged to explore the world around me, back then parents did not have to worry if their child disappeared for a few hours as long as we were back before it turned dark we were free to roam and play.
I've always had a vivid imagination, now I am a little older and have seen more of the world I am more able to understand some of the things my muse cares to show me. I have a great passion in books, however it is through my art that I explore my love of Sci-Fi and Fantasy, I'm more likely to be found with a book by Ian Rankin than I am a Sci-Fi novelest. I have however always loved the shows Star Trek and Farscape.
Some of my biggest inspiration is my music collection. I am a bit of an audiophile. I surround myself with music when I am working or studying; a playlist can range from Iron Maiden or Rammstein to Russell Watson or Beethoven. Some songs such as Rammstein's cover of Depeche Mode's Stripped can directly inspire an image (The Chains that Bind Us), however it is more often than not the feelings or emotions that run through my mind that can be the source of the images I create.
